Vicar – Rev Andy Carley
Andy was ordained in the Anglian Church in 2003 and has ministered in three previous parishes in Christchurch.
Andy grew up in the south of England and worked as a motorcycle mechanic and a Police Officer before moving to New Zealand with his family in 1997. Andy is married to Hillary, who works as a Personal Assistant and they have two adult children.
Besides family and ministry, Andy’s has a strong interest in motorcycles and, having been riding them since the age of 16, thinks he knows a thing or two about staying alive! He also loves to sample the ‘water of life’, otherwise known as a good single malt whisky in the company of likeminded people.
Andy is passionate about Christ’s church and has a heart for seeing people equipped in applying God’s Word in today’s world.
